Whether you're a longtime friend of the Dragon Ball Z series or just a gal seeking out a new fighting game, Burst Limit will leave you pleasantly pleased as you find yourself fighting AI baddies or other human players within your own anime world. Initially the game is graphically astounding. We've reached a point in next generation graphics where the games we play are executed as beautifully as the cartoons we watch on television.
If you're a newcomer to the series or just a newcomer to fighting games, you will have no need to worry. Extensive tutorials and simple controls that won't force you to master excruciating combos make this a fighting game that's a streamlined joy to play. Mastering the controls won't take you long at all and when you're confident enough, you can start competing with your local or virtual friends to experience where this game really shines. Competitive play with fellow humans at any level of difficulty and can be an easy pick-up-and-play party game or a more hardcore fighting experience depending on your level of experience.
If you're a DBZ fan, you'll enjoy the plot line linking together the fighting sequences and the many unlockable characters as well as the genre change of pace for the series. And if you're not, it's a unique fighting game worth a spin on your console of choice.
